Mission

We provide transitional housing to homeless women in Fulton and Montgomery counties. Holistic living and work experience programs prepare women to work towards independent living and family unification.

Vision
Our vision is a community where chronic homelessness and the resulting family separations no longer exist.

Values Statement
We share our Christian values and holistic lifestyle by example.  We endeavor to be as self-supporting and connected to the community as we encourage our clients to be.  Our clients are urged to pay it forward to the next woman by volunteering in our worksites which contributes to their own sense of dignity and purpose.

2020 is Haven of Hope’s eighth year of operation as a registered non-profit.

The farmhouse can accommodate both singles and families. Our residents come from all walks of life, their circumstances and their needs are as unique as they are individuals. The average stay at Haven of Hope Farm is currently 3 to 6 months.  Homelessness and dependence are often a chronic and generational problem.  We allow our residents the time they need to accomplish the goals necessary to start breaking those chronic or generational cycles and we continue to support our women after they have transitioned to permanent housing.

Haven of Hope Farm is a DSS work site

We are an official worksite in Montgomery County’s Department of Social Services Work Experience Program.

Participants have the opportunity to work in the market gardens, bakery or sales. Work experience provides a current work history and employment reference that can be used on prospective job applications.

Haven of Hope Farm is a Community work site

partnering successfully with the Montgomery County Dept. of Youth, ATI & Veterans’ Alternative Community Services.

Haven of Hope worksites provides weekend community service opportunities to agency selected individuals that are otherwise working or going to school during the week.

In 2019 three individuals completed 80 mandated community service hours in our market stand, gardens and kitchen. Many of these service workers have expressed the desire to come back even after their obligation is finished!
